At Smooth Aesthetics, we have two types of microneedling: Medical Pen microneedling and Radiofrequency microneedling.
Microneedling with the medical grade pen-the JuvPen- stimulates collagen and elastin production for increased skin tightening, improved skin tone, decreased pore size, and brighter skin. This service is also known as Collagen induction therapy.
Our Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling uses patented technology to deliver heat and energy with each micro needle pass. Also known as collagen induction therapy, this more invasive microneedling truly is the gold standard in non-surgery skin tightening. This service is just a step up from pen microneedling and stimulates the most collagen out of all of our services.
Microneedling (both pen and RF) stimulates collagen and elastin production for more youthful, tighter skin. It helps diminish acne scarring, surgical scars, and stretch marks, in addition to shrinking pores, improving skin texture and tone, decreasing fine lines, and with our signature platelet rich plasma skin cocktail, it brightens dark spots.
